Download a source file

Soria can return the original retained file behind a dataset.

MCP

Call list_dataset_files(dataset).
Choose a returned file_id.
Call get_dataset_source_file(dataset, file_id).

The tool returns the temporary download URL itself. There is no representation option and no parsed-text response.

Data API

Call GET /datasets/{dataset}/files.
Choose a returned file_id.
Call GET /datasets/{dataset}/files/{file_id}.

The response is:

The URL downloads the retained original file. It expires after five minutes but is not single-use, so retries work until it expires. Call the tool or endpoint again if you need a new URL. Before returning a URL, Soria verifies that the file belongs to the selected dataset and is available for customer download.
